Hi everyone, I’m trying to build a gift and I’m looking for an existing 3D-printable mechanism, or at least something similar that I can adapt. The idea is: The book lies flat on a base. One half of the book stays completely fixed. The other half rotates around the book spine A motor underneath the book automatically opens and closes the moving half. The complete mechanism should ideally be hidden underneath the book/base. There should be no visible pushrod or actuator above the surface. Does anyone know: an existing STL/project with a similar mechanism? what this type of mechanism would be called? a project using a rotating shaft/hinge driven from underneath? or another 3D-printable mechanism that could achieve this cleanly?
