Google opens Gemini Omni video to free Vids users after a paid-only start in May

On September 23, Google removed the paywall on Gemini Omni video generation in Google Vids. Anyone with a Google or Google Workspace account can now create 1080p clips at no cost with the Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash model.Omni had been reserved for subscribers to Google’s AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra tiers since its launch in May.
