Some pundits have predicted the Italian will be sacked before the end of the season. However, his former player Adam Webster believes things will eventually click for Tottenham.Speaking to Sky Sports, Webster said: “Very, very intense, very demanding, the finer details matter so much to him, repetition until it’s perfect in how he wants to play and his style he wants to implement.“The football he can play with his teams is incredibly difficult to play against and when everyone clicks and everyone is on the same page, it’s just getting to that can take time and it did with us at Brighton. It took a couple of months, we didn’t win for the first five games. It probably wasn’t until three or four months in where we really started clicking and everyone was on the same page and then you can see all the work that has gone into that.“Obviously Tottenham are in that period at the minute where they’ve got a lot of new players, they’ve got an identity they’re trying to implement and trying to get across to the players, but it does just take time.“It’s international break now but most players are probably away on international duty which doesn’t necessarily help them, and then they’ll only probably get a couple of days to prepare for the next game. It’s a process and I think it will just take time.“It was a lot of time spent on the training pitch, it was the time aspect which was so important, it was the connections you have to feel as players and that comes from hours on the training pitch and the moments in games that you go through.“I have no doubts that it won’t work there, I think he just needs time. It’s all the new players, last year when he came in it was all about keeping them up and he managed to do that.
