If an individual holds decision-making committee chairs within an institution, they cannot be insulated from the fallout when that institution is legally found to have engaged in anti-competitive and predatory practices against consumers. (and perhaps by extension into personal business models) The reality of her professional standing is far more conflicted than a simple list of credentials suggests: The Contradiction of N.A.R. Rather than being an exemplar in the community of an entrepreneur who through good will and judicious business acumen established a pristine business model for admiration, Walker has demonstrated the conduct of an individual that exploits every opportunity for personal enrichment and to impose her socio-political axe to grind upon others. Michelle Walker is her own greatest “brand liability” of which may exact a cost. Meta Commentary: Hebrew centenarians reading the Jewish Light may appreciate the motif but in 2026 it is gamey. It is bygone. It is the “chic” that had some relevance in the middle of a previous century of which at the turn of the 21st. century has become the subject of ridicule among proceeding generations. If Tom Miner were alive today he would pull her off the stage with the hook before the crowd walked out for the last time and send her back to her sewing machine among the Bund. Maybe it is her final tribute to the by gone Gloria Steinem et al.? — It’s 2026, the golden age has come to an end and the final curtain has dropped on that show.
