Cerulean Bay is a tricky horse to catch right but if things did pan out favourably he could even emerge as the danger here. He defied a drift to win readily at Haydock last time and I rate the second Rocket Boy so I think the form is decent enough.He still looked a horse learning his trade so I expect him to take a big step forward again and he can complete the hat-trick under William Buick.Burning Up won going away on debut and then backed that up winning cosily again at Haydock at the start of the month. It is hard to know just how good he is but with further improvement he looks the danger.Both Haffner and Quest For Stars are rock solid so this has all the makings of a good renewal. Sun Goddess has obviously been in terrific form and backed up that impressive win at York in the Group 1 Moyglare at the Curragh last time.She should run well again but LIBERTANGO does look the value play. She has won three from four herself and beat Sun Goddess when the pair met at Royal Ascot. Her trainer George Boughey has come out and said he hasn’t had her better at home and she could still improve again so her price is a bit insulting.Senorita Bonita is also three from four and was very impressive in France last time. She is clearly a filly going places as well and it wouldn’t be a massive surprise if she turned out to be the biggest danger. Moonrise is talented but this is another step up albeit she shouldn’t be underestimated. Charlie Appleby and William Buick have won the last two renewals with Shadow Of Light and Wise Approach and might be ready to land the hat-trick.Push The Boat Out impressed beaitng Royal Ascot winner Great Barrier Reef in Ireland last month and if improving again looks the danger. Orthodox disappointed behind Señorita Bonita in France but if putting a line through that is another one in with a lively chance here. I narrowed down my shortlist to about four horses but I’m just going to put forward one in the shape of ALCARATH for Alan King. This 4yo is around 16/1 in the betting which just looks too big to me.He was only denied a head by Dangerman who is a very useful operator and then freshened up was again narrowly beaten by the progressive Kokbastau last month. This trip looks ideal and just 2lb higher here he could improve again and go close under Rossa Ryan.Harmonics ran well beaten just two lengths behind Ciarrai Abu at Goodwood and again ran well in defeat when third behind Maho Bay at Windsor. He could take his form up a few notches yet and looks the danger.I was at Newbury when Hand Of God won and then he ran well beaten less than a length at York. He had excuses in France and if you put a line through that he could get involved here too.
