He knows that the lads and the fans and the staff have accepted him very quickly as a person and a player.“He should be looking short term now, working as hard as he possibly can to have a really good season in League One with us and then hopefully that’s onwards and upwards to the Championship for Ollie next season.”Cleverly hopeful Spurs will not recall IrowGiven Tottenham’s troubles at left-wing so far this season, some Spurs fans may even be wondering if the club should recall the youngster.The Lilywhites do have the option to cut short Irow’s loan spell in January, but Cleverley revealed that the North London club have been impressed with his work in League One and are hopeful that he can spend the whole season at Home Park.The former Man United midfielder added about the 20-year-old: “I’ve seen so many examples where parent clubs recall and then you’re kicking yourself because he’s gone to the new club and not played.“You look at what Bolton did with for Cozier-Duberry last year, there was a lot of talk about him going to the Championship in January.
