Raju has recently received the National Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to teaching, education and research.The award was presented at a programme in Kolkata on Friday by Shashi Shekhar Vempati, former CEO of Prasar Bharati and former chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification.
