KSRTC conductor suspended for allegedly insulting school student - The HinduPublished - September 27, 2026 09:30 pm IST - KOCHIThe Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has suspended the conductor of a ‘Priyadarshini’ bus that operated on the Guruvayur-Ernakulam route from service on charges of allegedly insulting a higher secondary school student.This follows a complaint lodged with the Paravur police alleging that he spoke to the girl inappropriately when she, reportedly with trimmed hair, sought a ‘zero ticket’ to avail herself of the free travel scheme for women on KSRTC buses.
