Hey everyone, I'm a 17yo solo developer (ableproman) who loves creating minimalist stuff, but today I developed & designed a retro designed forum for absolutely everything on Earth. The platform is called OpenBBS (https://openbbs.ableproman.hu/). You can talk about anything on this platform. It was inspired by Hacker News and the 80s/90s design. Vanilla JS & pure PHP (no bloated libraries or frameworks). Fast, nested comment trees. Zero tracking scripts or third-party cookies. Honeypot and rate-limited protection against bots. And much more.
