Passport application fees are set to rise significantly from July 1, 2026. Both regular and Tatkaal applications for new passports, reissues, and replacements for lost or damaged documents will see substantial increases. Minor applicants and those seeking Police Clearance Certificates will also face higher charges. A separate fee structure is being introduced for services availed abroad.
