A TikToker known as Sweet T is currently opening up about her life, sharing raw and personal stories to help manage the $30,000 in debt she incurred while divorcing an abusive ex-partner. With over 4.1 million views on her latest post and a barrage of random comments on the video, it’s clear that people are tuning in not just for the drama but to support the Georgia resident. This specific post has two stories: an incident with her ex and one with her stepfather. In her video, Sweet T gets right to the point, saying, “All right, b—hes, I’m $30,000 in debt from divorcing an abusive man who moved into my house with all of this stuff in a trash bag. And now I’m telling my life story on TikTok to try to recoup some of those funds.” She then asked the viewers to engage with the content to help. “So if you could please stay and watch this all the way through to the end and press all of my buttons, you would really be being a girl’s girl.” She told everyone that when she was 22, one “verbal disagreement” with her then-boyfriend quickly turned into a “physical altercation” that ended with the police getting called. “He bashed my windshield in, and I gave him the f–king business,” is how she described the fight. However, there was one problem. “I am a very small person. Cause of how small I am physically, this guy thinks I’m full of shit and doesn’t believe my story.” She then pulls out a tomato plant to prove she is only 4’11” tall Sweet T highlighted that her ex had a unique name and a brother who was a police officer, which she feels influenced the way the officers handled the situation. “So they did not want to believe that he did anything that would mean they had to take him to jail too,” she said. She added the police had them handcuffed on the curb and the police asked leading questions like, “Did she do this to you with her car?” “And he has the opportunity to lie to the police and say that everything that happened was my fault and to get out of this scot free. He makes eye contact with me and looks like he’s debating on throwing me under the bus. And then he admits to everything, and we both go to fucking jail.” Sweet T then said that for reasons she did not understand, they were both put in the same squad car, which is when her ex started taunting the cops and insulting their personal lives. @smovey06 Good morning my beautiful girls were up drinking coffee and talking #storytimes thank you all SO much for all the love and support on my last video! Knowing that all of you want to help me #payoffmydebt so I can finally be free from this chapter of my life has completely restored my faith in humanity. #wedorecover #dvsurvivor ♬ original sound – Sweet T “He’s like, you’ve never argued with your girl before? Should we take you to jail every time you get into an argument with your wife?” she recounted. His behavior was so erratic that the officers first brake checked the ex, and by extension her, and eventually had to place him in a “turtle suit and a spit mask.” She noted that she was bailed out by her baby daddy and stepdad. According to HelpGuide, leaving an abusive relationship is never simple. It’s often complicated by isolation, financial control, and the fear of how a partner might react to the attempt to leave. The resource emphasizes that survivors are not to blame for the abuse they experience and that they deserve a safe, happy life. It also notes that abusers often use manipulation or promises of change to maintain control, which makes the process of breaking free even harder. Sweet T then narrated a discovery from the year later. “I’m at work. I’m a waitress,” she says. She is scrolling through Facebook, and she stumbled upon a post from her grandmother. Through a series of clicks from a comment, she realized her father had been keeping a major secret. “I’m literally at work and just found out by stalking people on Facebook that my dad cheated on my mom and had an illegitimate child behind her back,” she shares. Sweet T’s post had a surprising amount of random comments, made just for the engagement and to support her. Few, like ωнιт, asked, “This is my first impression of you and girl, wtf are you okay?” Sweet T was quick to reassure them, responding, “Yes! I’m now in trauma therapy, recovery, and in a safe and loving relationship. This was a long time ago.” She later answers a question about the debt, stating she will do the math, and promises more stories. This past year has seen two domestic violence cases that became incredibly violent. In California, a firefighter admitted to killing his wife after he learned of her infidelity. In Missouri, a woman woke up to the words, ‘I’m home,’ before she was attacked.
