Crunchyroll Will Be the Streaming Home of Kagurabachi Anime

Wait 5 sec.

We got another update on the Kagurabachi anime adaptation that confirmed it will be streaming on Crunchyroll when it debuts. That will happen in April 2027. No exact debut date is set yet for the adaptation of the manga, however. The announcement was accompanied by a new teaser trailer and a piece of art showing Togo Shiba.  First, here’s a look at Togo Shiba. He’s a former friend of Kunishige Rokuhira, Chihiro’s father, and is now helping the son with his quest for revenge and to reclaim the Enchanted Blades. He’s voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi, who also played characters like Kenshiro in Fist of the North Star, Tengen Uzui in Demon Slayer, Xander in Fire Emblem Fates, and Boothill in Honkai: Star Rail. This is what Shiba will look like in the anime.Go Ad-Free With Siliconera+View the site with no ads, be able to provide direct feedback about what we cover, and be automatically entered into our monthly PC game giveaway.Join Siliconera+ ©Takeru Hokazono/SHUEISHA,Project Kagurabachi  We can see a number of characters in the new teaser trailer. It’ll be shown at a number of conventions in 2026. However, new manga chapters will be on hold, as the series is going on hiatus.
