Like I said, he could've handled the review in a much better way, without sounding like an asshole because there are ways of criticizing something you dislike. Telling someone who was going through hell, suffering with cancer at the time, that she has "main character syndrome" isn't just being an "asshat", it's just having a lack of empathy in general.
