This week's column is highlighted by the victory of Frankel's Consensus View during the Belmont at the Big A meeting.Frankel Filly Game At AqueductMaking Waves regulars Klaravich Stables and Chad Brown combined with Consensus View to take the Belmont at Aqueduct opener on Thursday afternoon (video). Part of the GSA Bloodstock breeding programme, the daughter of Frankel won her unveiling by a neck.Picked up by Mike Ryan on behalf of Seth Klarman's operation for 280,000gns out of Tattersalls Book 1, the bay is the first foal out of Ebiyanza (More Than Ready). Ebiyanza, a half-sister to multiple group winner and three-time Group 1-placed Ebaiyra (Distorted Humor), also has a two-year-old full-sister to Consensus View who has yet to race.Juddmonte's former champion sire Frankel is credited with 40 winners from 77 runners (52%) Stateside. Her Hello Youmzain juvenile colt, Yuzuru, has yet to race and her latest progeny is a yearling daughter of Erevann. The extended family has found success on both sides of the pond in third dam and Group 3 heroine Theoretically (Theatrical), twice Grade I-placed, while sire Niagara Causeway struck in the GIII Tokyo City Handicap, and fellow stallion Moohaajim claimed the G2 Mill Reef Stakes and was second in the G1 Middle Park Stakes.The Aga Khan Studs' stallion Zarak has fielded eight winners from 13 runners (62%) in America. Responsible for a quartet of stakes winners, Zarak counts GII Saratoga Oaks heroine Laurelin and GII Flower Bowl Stakes winner Parnac as his best in that jurisdiction.Third Time's The Charm For Blue Point FillyHnR Nothhaf Horse Racing's Randie's Rascal (Blue Point) found the Churchill turf to her liking at third asking for trainer Ben Colebrook on June 18 (video).Bred by C & J Rosier, Daniel MacAuliffe, and Anoj Don, the daughter of Foxy Rascal (Dabirsim) cost 110,000gns out of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 2. The first foal out of the winning Dabirsim mare Foxy Rascal, the winner is followed by a yearling half-brother by Shaquille. G3 Albany Stakes heroine, G1 Cheveley Park Stakes and G1 Prix Morny runner-up Different League (Dabirsim) is also kin to Randie's Rascal.From 23 runners in America, Darley's Blue Point has 11 winners (48%). His trio of stakes winners in the U.S. include GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint hero Big Evs and GIII Goldikova Stakes victress Raqiya.Good Vibrations For Clement RunnerHighland Yard's Sound Bite (Teofilo) graduated at Delaware Park on June 13 (video). Bred by Newtown Anner Stud, the gelding is now trained by Miguel Clement.Sold for €17,000 at the Goffs Orby Yearling Sale Book 2, the Lindsay Laroche runner finished second for Gavin Cromwell at Leopardstown and Roscommon last year. Gelded, he changed hands privately and traveled to the U.S. The sixth foal out of Catchphrase (Dubawi), he is a half- or full-sibling to three winners. His granddam is Miss Jean Brodie (Maria's Mon), who ran second in the G1 Irish Oaks.Darley's Teofilo has 19 winners (63%) from 30 runners in North America. Four of them have triumphed in stakes, led by GI Arlington Million victor Nation's Pride and Grade II scorers Amira's Prince and Eternal Hope.Starman Filly Ascends In IndianaJDT Racing's Forget About You (Starman) found the Horseshoe Indiana turf to her liking and scampered home to win on June 25 (chart). Part of the Brendan Walsh yard, the bay was bred by Heytesbury Investments.A €21,000 Tattersalls Ireland September yearling, Forget About You blossomed into a €40,000 Tattersalls Ireland Breeze-Up graduate when purchased by Osborne Lodge Racing. The second winner and runner for Bodak (Kodiac), the winner is followed by the unraced juvenile filly Scarlett's Spell (Saxon Warrior). Forget About You counts G3 Desmond Stakes hero Pincheck (Invincible Spirit) and G3 Brownstown Stakes heroine Valeria Messalina (Holy Roman Emperor) as half-siblings to her dam, while GI Gulfstream Park Breeders' Cup Handicap hero Prince Arch (Arch) is under the third dam.Young Tally-Ho stallion Starman now has two winners from four to run (50%) in the U.S., with his North Coast also third in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf.Repeat Winners2023 GI Frank E. Kilroe Mile Stakes scorer Gold Phoenix (Belardo) added yet another graded tally to his resume in the June 14 GIII San Juan Capistrano Stakes for trainer Phil D'Amato (video). The four-year-old filly races in the colours of Mark Dodson.Phil D'Amato saddled Canto Della Terra (Kodiac) to win at Santa Anita on June 14 (video). The four-year-old filly races for Medallion Racing, Parkland Thoroughbreds, Rancho Temescal Thoroughbred Partners and Ed Orr.Night Of Thunder's Amberglen claimed a race at Churchill Downs for Stonestreet Stables on June 19 (video).
