There’s a lot going on in the world of James Bond lately. This week, Collider reported that Isaac Rouse had been cast as the young Bond, which has now been confirmed by the studio involved via its official website.Rouse, best known for his role as Ollie Chadwyck-Healey in The Crown Season 6, is 24 years old, making him one of the youngest actors ever to portray James Bond in an official production. He is joined by fellow British actor Charlotte McBurney, who plays the character Wilder Lawless.Credit: Inside the MagicYoung Bond: SilverFin Part 1Titled Young Bond: SilverFin Part 1, the audio drama series adapts Charlie Higson’s 2005 book, which was followed by the sequels Blood Fever, Double or Die, Hurricane Gold, and By Royal Command, all of which were written by the author.The series continued under Steve Cole, with the titles Shoot to Kill, Heads You Die, Strike Lightning, and Red Nemesis.Per YoungBond.com, here’s the description for the full series:“The best-selling Young Bond novels were first written by Charlie Higson.
