Sujana of the Telangana High Court on Wednesday granted bail to former MLA of BRS party Balka Suman, who was lodged in prison after being arrested in a case of inflammatory speech of urging party cadre to damage properties of the railways and Singareni Collieries.The former legislator was arrested on May 30 by the Banjara Hills police of Hyderabad on charge of exhorting party workers to attack public properties. The judge directed him to execute a personal bond of ₹25,000 and two sureties each of equal sum to the satisfaction of the Third Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-Nampally.He was instructed to appear before the Station House Officer of Banjara Hills at 10 a.m. every Monday for a period of eight weeks or till filing of chargesheets, whichever was earlier.In a separate order, the judge quashed all five criminal cases registered against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for violation of model code of conduct during the Huzurnagar by-election in 2019. Revanth Reddy was the MP of Malkajgiri when he campaigned for the Congress candidate during the by-election.
