Water testing reports for water used in cooking were unavailable, while the chiller was overloaded, affecting proper cooling. Dust accumulation was noticed on the ceiling above the grinding area. Food waste had not been cleared from drain areas, and records relating to testing of packaging materials were not available. The kitchen ceiling was also found to be greasy. Dust accumulation was observed on the store room ceiling and water stagnation near the grinding and vegetable-cutting areas. Mould growth was detected on cauliflower, while batter stored in refrigerators lacked proper labels. Houseflies and cockroaches were found in the kitchen and store room. Records pertaining to pest control, water quality testing and packaging material testing were not available. Officials found that the unit had not obtained a no-objection certificate (NOC) for groundwater extraction and that the water analysis report lacked microbial analysis. The transportation vehicle did not possess an FSSAI licence, while NABL certification for packing materials was not produced.
