Gaming laptops used to be massive. I don't mean in terms of popularity (although they still are), but more in terms of physical chassis size. That was a real problem when you wanted to put one in your backpack to take to work, or on your next flight. However, there are now plenty of slim and light, game-ready machines to choose from, most of which won't look out of place in your next meeting. Take these little Asus ROG Zephyrus beauties, for example. We're curating all the best Prime Day PC gaming deals hereI've found an RTX 5060-equipped Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 for $1,450 at Best Buy. That's the perfect size for travel, and while the fans are a little noisy, I don't think that's too much to bear when the price is this reasonable.Or, you could pick up the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 with an RTX 5070 mobile crammed inside for $1,575. It's more backpack-friendly than shoulder-bag ready, but it's a very tempting, very premium gaming laptop for mid-range money. So, why don't either of these machines top our best gaming laptop guide? However, this ROG Zephyrus G14 is priced very attractively at the moment, coming in at $1,450.As our Dave found in his review of the RTX 5070 Ti version, it's got a chassis design that's nothing short of delightful. The 120 Hz OLED display is a real highlight, too, which means it should make games, movies, and everything else you use your laptop for look downright lush. The saw-toothed fan profile, though, can be a touch irritating. And the 90 W RTX 5060 will need plenty of DLSS help to make the most of its 1800p display. But otherwise, this is a 14-inch machine with very few peers—all for a very reasonable price.Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 | RTX 5070The G16 has been a firm favorite here at PC Gamer since Asus started wrapping them in milled aluminium chassis designs, and this one's got that super slim, super sleek feel.
