After years of Jollywood Nights running exclusively in November and December, the event will now continue into January for the first time ever. Disney Holidays in Hollywood returns as a musical centerpiece hosted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, with appearances from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Belle, Tiana, and more. The Nightmare Before Christmas sing-along returns inside the Hyperion Theater, blending Halloween and Christmas in a way that has become a signature piece of the event’s identity.Glisten, the ice skating spectacular set against the Chinese Theater, is also returning, alongside Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM, the nighttime spectacular that combines fireworks, projections, and synchronized MagicBand effects with snowfall along Hollywood Boulevard.Character offerings continue to be one of the bigger draws of the night, with appearances ranging from Stitch dressed as Santa to The Mandalorian and Grogu, Chewbacca celebrating Life Day, and classic favorites like Mickey, Minnie, and Scrooge McDuck. Disney has also indicated that additional character announcements are still coming.Credit: Jess Colopy, Inside the MagicDisney Attractions and Ticket AvailabilitySeveral of Hollywood Studios’ most popular attractions remain open during the event with reduced wait times, including Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Slinky Dog Dash, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, among others.Tickets go on sale starting July 9 for guests staying at select Disney Resort Collection hotels, as well as the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin and Shades of Green.
