[Dabanga] Washington D.C. -- The USA has announced a new raft of sanctions on Sudan, billed as "taking further action against those responsible for perpetuating violence, obstructing peace efforts, and fuelling the war in Sudan." The new sanctions were announced by the US Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) on Friday.
