So sorry to hear your dog went through that, but its great the meds are working! We recently had to put our cat to sleep because of a rapidly developing cancer in his jaw. We noticed something was off and immediately took him to the vet. It turned out that medical intervention would have been purely for our comfort and not for his, he couldn't eat and was in pain, so we did the right thing. If there was a solid chance of him having quality of life with treatment, we were willing to consider it, but it cost us 2k just in those vet bills.. that didn't even include any invasive tested (thank God it wasn't needed, he would have suffered so much more). Its insanely expensive to get your animals taken care of, and if someone can't do it themselves or has access to help that's not in the form of a CB post, they shouldn't have a pet at all. But they're just accessories to some people 🙄
