Luke Grima and Anna Paola Caruso have just been crowned the winners of Love Island Malta Season 4!Last night’s final saw the couple facing off against the three remaining couples in the villa, with the public being ultimately given the ultimate say on who was to take home the coveted title (and cash prize).Neil and Yasmine finished in fourth place, Zack and Hayley secured third, and by the end, it was only Giuseppe and Anthea – one of the season’s longest-standing couples – who stood in the way of Luke and Anna Paola’s victory. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lovin Malta (@lovinmalta)But in proper Love Island fashion, there was one final twist waiting for the couple, as Luke was handed an envelope containing the €20,000 prize and given the choice to keep it all or split it with Anna Paola.Host Giselle presented both of them with an envelope, but the random distribution meant that only Luke’s actually contained the prize money, while Anna Paola’s had an empty envelope.Without hesitation, however, he chose to bring this villa romance to a wholesome end as the two now get to enjoy each other (and the prize) together.With Luke entering the villa from the first day and Anna Paola entering on the seventh, the couple did not have the most straightforward journey to the end, with the two coupling with other people in last couple of weeks.“I think it was part of the journey,” Luke told Lovin Malta’s Riana. “Once you’re here, you have to explore other connections.
