Mysuru district police collect ₹2.52 lakh under traffic fine rebate scheme - The HinduUpdated - June 25, 2026 08:30 pm IST - MYSURUUnder the initiative, motorists can clear pending traffic violation cases by paying only 50% of the prescribed penalty.The Mysuru district police have reported an encouraging response to the ongoing special drive offering a 50% concession on pending traffic fines, with 1,081 cases settled and ₹2.52 lakh collected in the first four days of the campaign, from Sunday to Wednesday.The rebate scheme, introduced following a State government notification, came into effect on Sunday and will remain in force until July 10.
