Thousands of people across Malta and Gozo will soon be able to sign up for more than 450 lifelong learning courses, with applications opening next month.Education and Sport Minister Byron Camilleri has launched the 2026/2027 Lifelong Learning Prospectus, offering courses in around 100 different subjects for anyone aged 15 and over.The programme is designed to help people develop new skills, expand their knowledge and improve their personal and professional opportunities, regardless of their stage in life.“Education does not stop at school or with formal studies,” Camilleri said. “It is a continuous process that accompanies people throughout their lives.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lovin Malta (@lovinmalta)This year’s prospectus includes courses in business, science and technology, creative arts, humanities, personal development and languages.New additions include calligraphy, Portuguese, English pronunciation, time and stress management, as well as preparatory courses for various examinations.The Directorate for Lifelong Learning also revealed that demand continues to grow, receiving 18,471 applications during the last academic year.To make the programme more accessible, people aged 60 and over will once again be entitled to one free course each year, while fee exemptions will also be available for people receiving social benefits and Disability Card holders.Applications for the 2026/2027 academic year will be open from 1st to 31st July through the lifelonglearning.gov.mt website, Servizz.gov centres and Local Councils across Malta and Gozo.Share with someone who’d be interested!•
