India has slapped a five-year anti-dumping duty on a key chemical used in rubber and tyre manufacturing, imported from China, the EU, and the US. This move follows a recommendation by the Directorate General of Trade Remedies, citing dumped imports causing material injury to domestic producers. Additional duties have also been extended on Aluminium Foil and imposed on Polyethylene Terephthalate resin from China, aiming to ensure fair trade.
