On Wednesday, Venezuela was hit by two successive earthquakes with massive magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5. The first landed close to the capital in Caracas, the second landed by the coastal town of Morón. Nearly 1,000 people have died with over 3,000 reported injuries and the search for 50,000 missing people under collapsed buildings is underway, per the president of the country’s National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez.These are just the initial damages.
