Yeah, I'm in the midwest. My mortgage, including escrow (homeowners insurance & taxes) is $600. 2500 sq ft main floor, stone brick, partially finished full basement with kitchen. To be fair, that was with a $40k down payment. I have no idea where this farm is, but it's most likely not in a high cola.
