Following a situational assessment by incident commanders, it was decided to evacuate the first row of homes in Sal'it in Samaria as the wildfire advanced toward residential areas.Fourteen firefighting crews, assisted by four firefighting aircraft from the Elad Firefighting Squadron, are operating in the area in an effort to contain the blaze and protect the community.
