Amo Racing's 2.5-million guineas Tattersalls October Book 1 sensation Alpinara (Frankel), a full-sister to six-time Group 1 winner and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe heroine Alpinista, followed up a debut seventh at Newbury back in October with a stylish breakthrough win in Friday morning's British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes at Doncaster.Prominent throughout the near 12-furlong contest, the 4-5 favourite inched ahead approaching the quarter-mile marker and was ridden clear inside the final furlong to comfortably outpoint Brunhilde (Night Of Thunder) by 3 1/4 lengths.Alpinara is the fifth of eight foals and third scorer produced by Listed Silbernes Band victrix Alwilda (Hernando), herself a daughter of three-time Group 1 winner Albanova (Alzao).Albanova is the dam of five black-type performers and second dam of G1 St Leger and G1 Irish St Leger hero Eldar Eldarov (Dubawi).Alpinara is also a half-sister to Listed Sparkasse Holstein Cup victrix Alpenblume (Kendargent), a yearling filly by Sea The Stars and a weanling filly by Study Of Man.
