Are we the same person? I have a 16 yo daughter born by c-section with a shitty ex. We were not married and he stormed into my room the morning after she was born demanding to know why the name on the bassinet in the nursery said “Baby KJB” and not his last name. I told him “because they have to use the mother’s last name to identify her because that’s who gave birth to her.” That’s not the reason he’s my ex but it was where it began.
