A disaster.“As professional players in a professional competition, it’s not right… it’s not fair… if it’s fair for FIFA, okay good for them.“But it’s not fair. Who wants to help us… no one helps. No one.Taremi hit out at FIFA’s handling of Iran’s World Cup adventureGetty“Who has to solve this problem for us? Who? FIFA? I don’t know. USA. I don’t know – just mention one name for me.“Infantino came to [our dressing room] the first game [against New Zealand] and said we will solve every problem here, but actually FIFA did nothing.Iran boss Amir Ghalenoei has suggested that the team’s treatment by the US has been “really terrible” and wants the world to be “aware”.Taremi was then asked if he thought that FIFA and the US authorities would prefer Iran to be knocked out of the competition.FIFA president Infantino met with the Iran players but Taremi says he hasn’t fulfilled his promisesGettyThe Olympiacos star admitted that from their ‘perspective’ it appears to be the case.“We have to fight against everything here.,” he said.“I don’t know if people want [that] or not but as we see it by our perspective, yeah, they are like that I think.”Iran are sixth in the third-place table going into the final day of group games. They have a good chance of making it through unless Croatia, Algeria and DR Congo all claim big wins in their final group games.World Cup WhatsAppDon't miss an update from talkSPORT in our dedicated World Cup WhatsApp channel.Search for ‘talkSPORT World Cup’ in your ‘Updates’ tab on WhatsApp and we’ll drop the proper, unfiltered football chat straight to your lock screen—no fluff, just pure talkSPORT energy. It’s where you’ll find out all the new rules to watch out for, England and Scotland reaction and big match player ratings.
