Manjula has directed senior board officials to proactively take precautionary measures to ensure that potential water scarcity in the coming days due to low rainfall does not trigger a drinking water crisis in the city.Ms. Manjula reviewed the board’s preparedness to address possible water shortages arising from inadequate rainfall. She held detailed discussions with officials on the current water levels in the Krishna Raja Sagara (KRS) reservoir and emphasised the need for its prudent utilisation.“All appropriate and necessary arrangements must be made from now itself to address any potential issues that may arise in the future,” she said.
