Civil Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu launched Air India's 'Easy Connect' initiative in Varanasi, establishing the first hub-and-spoke flight to connect the city globally via New Delhi. This model aims to boost international connectivity from smaller cities. Six destinations will soon adopt this model, with Varanasi set to receive airport upgrades within 13 months. Air India plans to expand this service to several other Indian cities.
