Singer Paul Job Kafeero’s widow, Robinah Namatovu Bisirikirwa, has opened up about their deep love story, their struggle to have children, and the illness that eventually claimed the singer’s life.Speaking in an interview, Bisirikirwa explained why she never had a child with Kafeero despite being the woman he loved most.She revealed that after undergoing medical tests together, doctors discovered that Kafeero was unwell while she was healthy. The diagnosis forced them to put aside plans of having children as they focused on his health.According to Bisirikirwa, doctors also informed them that Kafeero had a low sperm count, a condition they attributed to excessive alcohol consumption.When we underwent medical tests, we discovered that Kafeero was sick while I was fine. From that moment, we understood that having children would not be possible. I thanked God for giving me the strength to stay by his side instead of abandoning him when he was at his weakest. I remained with him and took care of him until his final days. Doctors also confirmed that he could no longer father children because he had a low sperm count caused by excessive drinking. Bisirikirwa further stated that the only children Kafeero acknowledged during his lifetime are the same ones who were recently confirmed through DNA testing.She recalled that Kafeero introduced those children to her when they were still young, and she personally helped raise them by bathing and caring for them.The only children Paul Kafeero had are those he fathered when he was still young.
