Movers are really expensive. In 2022 I was moving about 20 miles/45 minutes and to move my 600 sq.ft. cottage was about $1500. I only had 5 pieces of furniture, the rest was just boxes and odd bits. I had everything packed as well. That price doesn't include the tip of course.
