Malta-founded luxury hotel group Corinthia has landed a double international win, with its hotels in London and Rome both taking the number one spot in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.The newly opened Corinthia Rome was voted the number one hotel in the Italian capital by the publication’s UK readers, an achievement coming during its very first year of operation.Meanwhile, Corinthia London climbed to the number one position among London hotels according to Condé Nast Traveler’s US readers.The Readers’ Choice Awards are determined by travellers themselves, based on their experiences at hotels and destinations around the world.And the recognition didn’t stop there.Five Corinthia properties were also recognised in the 2026 Michelin Guide hotel selection, with four receiving Two Michelin Keys and the new Rome property receiving its first Michelin Key.Corinthia London retained its Two-Key distinction, while the Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria Brussels was elevated from One Key to Two.The Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest retained its Two Keys, while The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel in New York, was upgraded from One to Two Keys within its first year of operation.“These awards are a testament to the standards, efforts and creativity of our Corinthia properties and teams around the world,” Corinthia Group CEO Simon Naudi said.Founded in Malta in 1962, Corinthia has grown into an international luxury hospitality brand, with properties across major cities including London, Rome, Brussels, Bucharest and New York and further projects under development around the world.Which is your favourite Corinthia Hotel?•
