I have 3 projects I have to do for CNC class. What have you guys made with STL’s?

Wait 5 sec.

Basically I have a free period of 8 hours, 4 of which are dedicated to the work that week but besides that it’s all the time to myself for a midterm and final alongside a project or two. I need something complicated enough to show what I learn and simple enough to finish in 10 weeks. So things like pull tabs out of metal would be great but it’s more of a side thing if anything. I’m using fusion 360 so mesh work isn’t ideal so I have to start from scratch. I was hoping to make my own Byakko, more inline with a defense type, in memory of Scott Henson but seeing how green I am it’s hard to figure it out. Editing someone else’s work also doesn’t set right with me, even if I was able to remesh/reduce an STL online it just wouldn’t feel as accomplishing and could lie in a grey area for copyright. I was thinking if it goes well I can start making things more unique and even start a business eventually. Out of everything I’ve said I think making an addon to an official grip to begin with, if not a full grip. Usually when I play for extensive periods of time my left thumb gets sore and due to my work in school and gaming, I can get some major cramps even with a proper grip and proper posture. I bet a lot of you have the same issue and to me the weight and performance of the official grips (I’ve seen some people go through multiple official ones) left out some area’s to be desired. Do you folks have any ideas? I’m trying to think of more ways I could improve the hobby both in tournament or non tournament eligible ways. submitted by /u/DarkIcedWolf to r/Beyblade [link] [comments]
