EURUSD: write the event review before the eventEUR/USDOANDA:EURUSDordanemarketsThe Bureau of Labor Statistics schedules the August consumer price release for September 11 at 08:30 Eastern Time. Before that release, define how you will review the EURUSD reaction rather than choosing the most convincing story afterward. Use a four hour chart and preserve the high and low of the last completed session before the release. Record the feed and session timezone so the reference can be reproduced. Write down two questions in advance. Where does the first completed event candle close relative to the fixed range? Where does the next completed candle close? A wick outside followed by a return inside answers a different question from two closes remaining outside. If the event candle crosses both boundaries, mark the sequence as unresolved under this simple framework. Do not move the range to make the result fit an expected direction. These conditions are an observation protocol, not a forecast of inflation, monetary policy or the exchange rate. A single event does not establish a trading edge. Keep the observation separate from execution and any subsequent profit or loss. Education only, not advice. All figures use simulated capital only; no deposits, no client money.
