This is Floatwr, an Android app I've been working on. It puts a browser, saved websites and notes inside a single notification bubble. You can be in another app, open the bubble to look something up or write a note, then collapse it again. The tab groups and notes are still there the next time you open it. One of the decisions I ended up making was to keep everything inside one bubble! Opening a tab group, a saved website or notes just changes the screen inside it. There's a menu for switching between them. The notes are chat-style rather than a document editor. They support images and files, and you can send selected text from other apps into them. It's available on Google Play for $3, paid once, with no ads or analytics: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.miz.floatwr It needs Android 12 or newer. Bubble behavior varies across phones, so automatic expansion isn't guaranteed. Switching back to a screen can also reload it, although the tabs are saved. Hope someone here finds it useful. submitted by /u/YogurtExternal7923 [link] [comments]
