Hey r/SideProject! I'm a med student, and I wanted a study app that actually keeps you hooked, so your focus doesn't drift off after ten cards. A lot of people just don't get anywhere with dry flashcard grinding, and I wanted to make that experience better. In short: gamified studying. So I built **RecallRun**: your flashcards become the track. Every question appears as gates (A, B, C, D) and you swipe into the lane with the right answer. **What's in it** - Spaced repetition: cards come back after 1, 2, 4, 7, 14 and 30 days - Import your own decks: .apkg (incl. images), CSV, or just paste text - Up to 8 answers per question (gates, drag & drop, "circuit" panels), plus a calm focus mode - Your XP grows a little home on a floating island (20 stages) - **New in 1.1: a pharmacology mode.** 10 topics, 1,000+ drugs, and you sort drug packs at a hospital trolley. The content is based on the pharmacology documents from my own university course, the same material I studied with. - No account, your data stays on your phone. English + German. Built solo in Unity. To be upfront: it's free with ads (never during a run), there's a one-time "Ad-free" purchase, and the pharma topics are optional paid packs. iOS only for now: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6817756880 I'd really like honest feedback, especially on one thing: does the runner help you stay with your cards, or does it distract from them? submitted by /u/Therealeray [link] [comments]
