What's one thing you wish you'd known during your first year as a nurse?

Wait 5 sec.

I spent my first few months acting like I had it all figured out and it was exhausting. I was terrified of looking incompetent so I'd stay quiet when I should've just asked. the nurses I trusted most were the ones who asked questions all the time. Nobody expects a new grad to know everything and I wish I'd believed that sooner. What about you guys what do you wish someone had told you early on ? submitted by /u/nyxinblack [link] [comments]
