So Knightcap, that chess social lounge that happens at TaTe Village every end of the month just had it's 4th iteration a little over a week ago. What. A. Vibe!! And the kicker is, it might've been our best event yet despite the heavy downpour we had. But where there's inconvenience, at least there's good music. Oddly enough though, I just think it brought people together. Sure, the event is about promoting and cultivating a culture around chess in a non-elitist/exclusionary sort of way but ultimately, all it comes back down to is people wanting to meet new people in a fresher, more intentional sort of way. So...here's to Knightcap Volume 4, Volume 5 on the way. Follow our socials @ knightcap.na on Instagram for updates on the next date drop. submitted by /u/Local_Goal3635 [link] [comments]
