The deputy responded, identifying himself as a 13-year-old boy.”Byrne reportedly sent explicit images and videos to the Snapchat account and asked the undercover deputy for images in return. Upon his arrest at a Central Florida location, the man confirmed that the Snapchat account was his, but that he was unaware that the person he was conversing with was a minor.Byrne was arrested by officials at a backstage Walt Disney World Resort address: 751 Backstage Lane. However, in an intriguing development, The Walt Disney Company has shared that the male does not work for the House of Mouse, and there is currently no confirmation as to how Byrne managed to access the backstage area at The Most Magical Place on Earth.Credit: UniversalThe report concludes that “Byrne was charged with solicitation of a minor via computer, transmission of harmful material to minors, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.”This is the second undercover sting report in recent weeks to hit the headlines, connecting predators to the major theme parks in Central Florida. In September, evidence came to light relating to a Universal Orlando Resort team leader who was arrested following another sting operation. The Epic Universe employee had aimed to have sex with a 14-year-old minor, but the “child” was actually an undercover deputy. As previously reported, “Deputies arrested 30-year-old Tyler Exline Tuesday at his place of employment, Universal’s Epic Universe,” Click Orlando said. “He now faces two counts of solicitation of a minor, according to an arrest affidavit. He faces another count of unlawful use of a two-way communication device, also a third-degree felony.”Inside the Magic will continue to update this developing story. The post Florida Man Arrested at Disney World Following Undercover Sting appeared first on Inside the Magic.
