This $85 4K webcam is almost half the price I reviewed it at, and one of the best I've used

Pixy: was $109.99 now $85.48I had the chance to test this webcam out last year, giving it an 82% in my review. It's not only well-priced, but easy to set up, with very smart features and a genuinely pretty good microphone. With it being almost half its original price, I've yet to try a 4K webcam that can beat it on value. Key specs: 3840 x 2160 @ 30 fps, 1920 x 1080 @ 60 fps | 73° FOV | Sony 1/2.55-inch sensor | USB Type-CView Deal4K webcams are a bit of a niche. They're often too high resolution for many bits of software, but not quite powerful enough to beat out a dedicated camera. However, as they've become cheaper, they've genuinely become worth buying over 1080p webcams of similar prices. If you need a webcam and fancy having it follow you around the room, you can pick up the Emeet Pixy for just $85 in the Amazon Prime Day sale. We're curating all the best Prime Day PC gaming deals hereWhen the Emeet Pixy rolled up on my desk at $160, I liked it enough to give it 82% in my review. Since then, it has not only seen a semi-permanent price drop, but another one on top of that for Prime Day. That means, at $85, it's just over half the price it launched at. In my book, that's an absolute steal. My big book of webcams, that is. It's such a good webcam for the price, in fact, that you will spot it as our pick for the best webcam right now. The webcam itself is on a gimbal, which means that, with its AI functionality, it can track you and follow you around a room. If you are giving a presentation, or just want your friends to see you move around on a call, it can do it all seamlessly. It also offers solid 4K capture at 30 fps, thanks to its Sony sensor. I found it could make out the texture of my hair and gave good clarity in high and low light environmentsI personally found it to be more washed out than the Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite, another relatively budget-friendly 4K choice, but it's still great in practice, and is easy to set up (and now a lot cheaper). Given it's one big webcam on top of another stand, it is a bit bulky, so it may struggle to balance on your laptop, but you can take the stand off and put it on any other stand that has threading. The Pixy is the choice under $100 right now, and likely the best pick all the way up to around $140. It has some mediocre to bad features, like one that generates scripts, but the AI tracking itself is pretty solid, and it has a built-in microphone too for a quick meeting. Whether you need something for a late-night Discord call or to add a facecam to your stream, the Pixy is great in both regards. 👉Take a look at all the Amazon webcam deals here👈
