Hello! I have an old Latin American fairy tale of sorts my grandfather told my mother. She typed it out and now I'm trying to put a childrens book together. It mentions like going out back to kill and prepare a chicken. A lion eating a man. A king who was possessed. A princesses getting lemons thrown at her. So while my mom would like light hearted illustrations I think it should probably have a tinge of dark or creepy. But not TOO creepy. It's 6 pages doubled spaced typed, so maybe about 10-12 pages spread out with illustrations, plus cover? I would like to get an idea of what that might cost. I would like to have full rights so the reddit starts that $500. Can some one help me get started on this whole thing? submitted by /u/malcom_the_ninja [link] [comments]
