I've been working on this on my own for a while and wanted to share where it's at. It's called Ornymo. You upload your FAQs, paste one script tag on your site, and a chat widget answers visitors' common questions from them. It started because I was answering the same support questions over and over on my own projects, and the tools I looked at were priced for bigger teams. The part I enjoyed most was making the answers reliable, so it sticks to what's in your FAQs instead of making things up. The part that took longest was making the widget look like it belongs on any site, including dark ones. It's live at ornymo.com with a free plan.
