Delhi Police issued a video to counter claims that CJP's Abhijeet Dipke was uninformed about his grandmother's death. The police stated that he was informed of the death and offered assistance for travel to the funeral. Dipke declined the offer and was later released after being detained for a protest. Three CJP leaders were arrested following their detention inside an aircraft before the protest.
