After an abbreviated 2026 breeding season, influential sire Curlin is scheduled to return to the breeding shed in 2027 to lead the roster at Hill 'n' Dale at Xalapa. History's only stallion to have sired the winners of three Breeders' Cup races on the same day in consecutive years as well as the sire of this year's GI Kentucky Derby winner in Golden Tempo, Curlin will stand for a private fee.“We are meticulously managing Curlin, affording him the respect he deserves as one of the most influential and preeminent sires in recent memory,” said Hill 'n' Dale's John Sikura. “We will continue to test breed Curlin and determine his book size prior to the breeding season. It is very encouraging we tested two mares in foal this fall, which gives us great optimism he will return to service.”Standing alongside Curlin at Hill 'n' Dale is his champion son Good Magic, one of only three stallions to sire an American Classic winner in each of his first two crops. With five of his sons standing at stud in Kentucky, Good Magic will stand for a fee of $80,000 LFSN in 2027.Maclean's Music, whose current runners are led by G1 Nunthorpe Stakes winner and GI Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint-bound Bacio, will remain at $30,000 LFSN in 2027.Arabian Knight, a son of sire of sires Uncle Mo and the most popular horse ever to retire to Hill 'n' Dale when entering stud in 2025, will be represented by his first-crop weanlings in November.
