I know this is probably just going to get downvoted to hell because I'm not just blindly jumping on the hate train but I'm going to give it a shot, anyway. For the record, the "influencer" from the OP can go straight to hell. I am not on her side in any way. I just think that thoughtful criticism is important. So I read and re-read her post 3 different times to make sure I wasn't missing something and no. She did not say that she didn't think that their product was good. She said that she wanted to see if the people who were saying it wasn't good were correct. Don't misunderstand me. This bitch sucks, but we need to criticize her for the right reasons. I.e. greed and entitlement. Making up slights so that you can try to feel that much more superior to her is not productive because she literally did not say that she thought the product was bad. The whole point of her post was that she didn't know if it was bad or and was upset that they wouldn't give her a freebie so she could find out. Whether these people who are saying it was bad actually exists or not(they probably don't) is another story but, as written, her goal was to find out. Without proof you can't just say things. It only weakens your own argument. I'm sick of this trend of people willfully misinterpreting other people's words to try and bolster their own. It takes whatever ground you had to stand on and turns it into a rocky foundation because now you've created a scenario where they can point and say, "Actually that's not what I said." and it ruins your own credibility. It suggests that you don't have confidence in your own argument so you have to make things up. It's literally the playbook that the Republican GOP has been running for the last forever years. Don't be like the Republican GOP. They're awful. TL:DR-You don't have to make up things to criticize someone for when they've already done something worth criticizing.
