A fake letter claiming a sanctioned Productivity Linked Bonus for railway workers has circulated on social media. The Railway Board has confirmed this letter is unauthorized and bears a forged signature. It has advised railway officials to verify bonus announcements through official channels. The annual bonus for railway employees is currently set at Rs 17,951, established since 2014-15.
